Learning to write well for college and professional audiences can be a challenge. It often takes time for writers to find their voices, and at CWS, we help undergraduate students to find their voices. Whether you are seeking a degree in biology and need help with lab reports or if you want to become more effective in writing business reports to hone professional writing abilities, our services can help. From offering collaborative brainstorming sessions to the final edit, CWS will work with you at any stage of the process. We tailor instruction and feedback to help build your confidence as a writer, and we take pride in helping you to write strong, effective papers for your classes.

Feedback for course assignments:
e-mail a copy of prompt for the assignment along with a draft of the paper. Within twenty-four hours, CWS will send back detailed feedback addressing both global and local concerns. Microsoft Word’s track changes feature is used for direct comments addressing specific parts of the text and a more substantive write-up is also included. Alternate/additional options include meeting in-person, discussion via Skype, or by phone.

Meet up and brainstorm:
sometimes the hardest part is just getting started, so let’s set up a time to meet and hash out the objectives of the assignment and create some ideas to get started.
